The three kids Angel Bangura, Mamadu H Bah and Jonathan During with congenital heart disease.

The mothers and children left Freetown 2nd October and spent 18 days in the Ivory Coast before their Schengen visas were granted by the Spanish Consulate.

Throughout their 18 days in Ivory Coast our Pikin Bizness co founder Mrs Barbara Sangare Nee Bangura member of the Women Situation Room was a great helping hand to our team.

Chain of Hope in coordination with Pikin Bizness, Ola During and The Royal College of Paediatric and Child Health worked tirelessly to ensure these kids would get to their destination for the open heart surgeries, a life saving operation, considering the fact they only had a few months to live if not operated upon.

On Saturday 20th October, 2018 they all flew to Spain via Brussels. They are now safely in San Joan De Deu Children Hospital awaiting the surgical interventions.
This is the second time we embark on such a large group all in one go.We will update you on progress as things unfold praying for successful surgeries and a safe flight back home.
